Jeni Lobel and her e'Pap marketing team in Johannesburg have organized a week long event with the Hyde Park Shopping Center to collect funds for Linda Twala's project Phutaditjba in Alexandra. Linda looks after the needs of over 500 vulnerable people in Alexandra and includes, the malnourished, orphans, vulnerable children, the sick and senior citizens.
HELPING MAKE EVERY DAY A MANDELA DAY getting warmth and e'Pap nutrition to those in need for the next 12 months.
The Hyde Park Shopping Center, Hyprop Foundation and Hyde Park retailers have contributed in recognition of Nelson Mandela's memory. Funds are being collected to supply blankets and e'Pap nutrition to Phutaditjba.
On Mandela Day we are repeating the e'Spread program we did last year at Benmore Shopping Center, making fortified e'Spread sandwiches with volunteers from Hyde Park High and MaAfrika Tikkun.
Our e'Pap team, Rotary Rosebank and the girls from Kingsmead Girls High have been helping collect funds this week at the Hyde Park Shopping center.
Helping make vulnerable people in Alexandra will help them better cope with the challenges they face.
Anybody wanting to join in is welcome,
